Top-10 finish in Swamp Cabbage 100 at Hendry County
The World of Outlaws Late Model Series brought Tyler Erb and the Best Performance Motorsports team to Hendry County Motorsports Park this past weekend as the tour made its inaugural visit to the South Florida oval.
With two complete programs on the schedule, Erb opened the weekend by backing up a third-place finish in his heat race with an 11th-place run in Friday’s feature.
On Saturday, Erb secured his spot in the inaugural $20,000-to-win Swamp Cabbage 100 with a solid heat race performance. In the 60-lap main event, he slipped back two positions but still recorded a seventh-place finish.
Following the weekend, Erb sits fourth in the latest World of Outlaws championship point standings.
