Terbo fifth in World Finals at Dirt Track at Charlotte
Tyler Erb’s extended weekend began a little early as the 19th annual World Finals at The Dirt Track at Charlotte opened Wednesday with dual qualifying sessions.
Wednesday’s program set the lineups for Thursday and Friday, with Erb timing in 10th for Thursday’s prelim and third in the round used for Friday’s program.
Erb recorded a 10th-place finish in Thursday’s feature before rebounding with a strong fourth-place effort in Friday’s 35-lap main event.
Locked into Saturday’s dash, Erb finished sixth in the six-lap sprint, positioning himself for a solid run in the $25,000-to-win World Finals finale. He capped the weekend with a fifth-place finish, trailing Jonathan Davenport, Hudson O’Neal, Drake Troutman, and Brandon Sheppard at the checkered flag.
