Terbo notches fourth-place finish in World 100
Tyler Erb and the Best Performance Motorsports team made a short trip back to Eldora Speedway this past weekend for the 55th annual World 100, which kicked off with twin preliminary features on Thursday and Friday.
Fresh off a third-place finish in the Baltes Classic, Erb placed seventh in Thursday’s $12,000-to-win preliminary, then followed it up with a 13th-place run in Friday’s feature.
On Saturday, Erb started on the front row of his heat race and recorded a third-place finish, locking himself into the $72,000-to-win World 100 main event. From there, he found his rhythm—charging forward 12 positions over the course of the 100-lap finale to score an impressive fourth-place finish. He crossed the line behind Ricky Thornton Jr., Dale McDowell, and Nick Hoffman, with Ryan Gustin rounding out the top five.
