Third-place finish in Earl Baltes Classic at Eldora
Tyler Erb and the Best Performance Motorsports team kicked off their Labor Day weekend with a visit to Lernerville Speedway, taking on the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series during the 57th annual Hillbilly Hundred.
Erb finished 20th in Friday’s $10,000-to-win preliminary feature, then advanced into Saturday’s $30,000-to-win A-Main via a consolation race. He climbed eight positions in the 100-lap finale to notch a 10th-place finish.
On Sunday, Erb used the Earl Baltes Classic at Eldora Speedway as a tune-up for the upcoming World 100 weekend. He turned in a podium, finishing third in the feature.
