11th-place finish in Super Bowl of Racing opener at Golden Isles
After Mother Nature shuffled the first two rounds of the annual Super Bowl of Racing, Tyler Erb joined 43 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries at Golden Isles Speedway (Brunswick, Ga.) on Friday evening for the $12,000-to-win opener.
Pinned on the 10th row of the feature via a runner-up finish in his consolation race, Erb advanced forward nine spots in the 50-lap affair to bring home an 11th-place finish.
Inclement weather and an unfavorable forecast forced track and series officials to cancel the final two rounds of the Super Bowl of Racing on Saturday and Sunday.
