Erb scored 11th in Dirt Track World Championship at Eldora Speedway
Tyler Erb and the Best Performance Motorsports team made the short trip to Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) over the weekend to wrap up the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) season with the 43rd running of the General Tire Dirt Track World Championship presented by Automotive Racing Products.
After Mother Nature postponed the majority of the originally scheduled two-day show to Sunday, Tyler timed in 13th-fastest in his group before placing fifth in his heat. Relegated into a B-Main on Sunday night, Erb raced into the $100,000-to-win Dirt Track World Championship with a fourth-to-second run.
Wasting no time working his way forward, Erb soared into the top-10 by lap 15 and climbed to fourth with a lap-41 pass. He later slowed to bring out on lap 74 while running fourth with an expired motor.
Tyler finished eighth in the final LOLMDS point standings.
