Erb hangs onto fourth-place finish at Atomic Speedway

With the weekend opener on Friday getting rained out, Tyler Erb was one of 31 Valvoline Iron-Man Northern Series entries on hand at Atomic Speedway (Alma, Ohio) on Saturday afternoon for the Dan Reno-Jackie Boggs Memorial. Coming in second in his heat race behind Andy Bond, Erb locked into the seventh-starting position for the $13,004-to-win A-Main. Making a late-race charging in the waning laps, Tyler slipped over the cushion on the final lap while battling for second that dropped him back to fourth.
